Calypso

I call this necklace "Calypso," because the brightly colored lampwork discs (aren't they fabulous?!) and the turquoise colored magnesite rondelles combined to remind me of those carefree, fun-in-the-sun days on a Caribbean island!

I think rondelles are my favorite bead shape to work with. I love stacking them, using them as spacers - just love them! What is your favorite bead shape? Can you pick one?

HI:
Beautiful necklace.
Fine colors and the beads' shapes, reminding the African style.I also like rondello, but not in very big size,as I never know, what to do with them, but my favorite shape is the rocaille of all kinds,I love to work with.
As for crystals-the rivoli,of course.

Beach-perfect colors! The collection of lampwork discs adds fabulous visual interest. I can imagine the fun you had designing this piece. My favorite bead? A perfectly cut size 11 seed bead begging to be stitched into something new!

So beautiful! I don't make jewelry much anymore, but my favorite bead to make is the seashell. I'm a bit of an addict.
